A little about me

Hello! My name is Aaron Hoenig and I am a sound engineer, designer and stage manager. I graduated from The University of Utah in 2021 with a major in the Performing Arts Design Program with an emphasis in Sound Design. I also graduated with two minors, Audio Technology and Chemistry, as well as a certificate in Stage Management. Since graduating I have primarily focused on sound engineering and have mixed a variety of shows around Salt Lake City, Utah. I also stage managed through my college career with most of my experience coming form opera.f

After college I did some traveling then came back to work at my University as the Theatre Department's Lead Lights and Sound Technician. In the summer of 2024 I got a job with Royal Caribbean and in fall of that year I joined my first ship, Mariner of the Seas, where I worked as the sound engineer for the Royal Theatre. I am currently on vacation between contracts but am very excited to be joining my second ship, Independence of the Seas, in July.
